Oxlo is looking for a high-energy, motivated Software Engineer to join its Product Engineering team. The successful candidate will have 10+ years experience designing and implementing software solutions that focus on performance, quality, and ease in operational support. The successful candidate will have experience designing and implementing solutions for multi-tier architectures that communicate via Internet transport protocols. The candidate will be able to work well in a team environment that operates within an agile software development methodology that produces demonstrable deliverables within rapid timelines. The candidate will be a part of the larger team working with developers and managers. This position will report to Oxlo’s Director of Product Engineering.

This position will:

• Design and implement cross platform software solutions for service oriented multi-tier architectures that span various versions of Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems
• Design and implement Enterprise Web Services based on WS* specifications
• Produce internal technical design documentation with all implemented solutions
• Work closely with Quality Assurance to transfer appropriate knowledge for the creation of automated testing plans
• Design and develop tools for efficiency across Product Engineering, Quality Assurance and Operations

Required Skills and Experience:

• In-depth knowledge of the HTTP and other communication protocols
• Experience developing highly scalable solutions developed in C,C++, and C# .NET
• Experience developing cross platform compatible solutions that will operate on Windows, Linux, and SCO Unix platforms
• Experience developing .NET Web Services
• Knowledge of XML, XSLT and XPath
• Experience working in Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networking

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• MCAD Certification preferred
• Windows SharePoint Services experience
• SQL database experience

We are building a .NET-based B2B integration product. The product also utilizes C# components, XML and XSLT, HTTPS, web-portals, and cross platform transport solutions for secure communications over the Internet. We are looking for a senior-level person with a technical degree and prior development and systems experience, and a willingness to work as part of a dynamic, forward-thinking development staff.
