Top Healthcare Executive Dr. Arlen Meyers brings more expertise to Oxlo
BROOMFIELD, Colorado – March 9, 2009 — Oxlo Systems Inc., a provider of specialized integration solutions in the automotive and healthcare verticals announces that Dr. Arlen Meyers, MD, MBA has agreed to collaborate with Oxlo Systems in diversifying its integration offering in healthcare. Dr. Meyers brings deep expertise in the healthcare industry, specifically in hospital settings, having been closely involved with many healthcare initiatives both on state and national levels.
Arlen D. Meyers, MD, MBA is Professor of Otolaryngology, Dentistry and Engineering at the University of Colorado Denver. Dr. Meyers is the author of over 200 articles and book chapters and is Editor-in Chief of eMedicine.com: Otolaryngology-Facial Plastic Surgery. He is the cofounder and Chief Medical officer of a medical device startup company, Oncolight, and is a consultant to several medical device companies. He presently serves on the Executive Committee of the University of Colorado Bioengineering Center. Dr. Meyers is a member of the Colorado Governor's Commission on Science and Technology and was formerly the Executive Director of the Colorado Alliance for Bioengineering and cofounder and former director of the University of Colorado MD/MBA program. Dr. Meyers was named as a member of the Denver Business Journal's 2004 Who's Who in Healthcare and directs the International Bioentrepreneurship Fellowship Program at the Bard Center for Entrepreneurship Development at the University of Colorado Denver.
